Instrument calibration and repair services can be delivered at your site or at our lab. Accreditations for our instrument calibration lab in Zaragoza guarantee calibration results are traceable to the International Systems of units (SI) through NIST or NRC.

QUALITY MANAGER AND THE HEAD OF HSE

I believe that belonging to the great family of Trescal is very positive because it brings greater business opportunities, knowledge, expansion and job evolution, together with immense personal gratification.

After completing her studies in Science and Food Technology, Diana started her professional career in the agri-food sector as a quality manager.

In 2007, she was hired by Laboratorio de Metrología y Calibración Industrial (MCI) for administration, customer service, quotation and quality-related tasks.

In 2008, she participated in the design, development and implementation of a powerful web application.

In 2009, she moved to the Quality Department where she worked closely with the Technical Department to obtain accreditation in physical and dimensional fields, acquiring greater knowledge in calibration and aeronautical regulations.

Since Trescal’s acquisition of MCI in 2015, she has been appointed as Quality Manager for the laboratories in Toledo and Seville (Spain). She is also a key account manager and the head of HSE.

GENERAL MANAGER FOR SPAIN

When Trescal acquired the calibration division of Tecnalia in 2014, he was appointed site manager for two sites in Spain (Bilbao and Vittoria).

Fran started his career at Alstom as a quality engineer in the industrial engineering department. He then became the manager of the electrical workshop.

In 2012, he joined Tecnalia, a private technology and innovation research center, as the head of the low voltage and power electronics laboratory.

Fran’s motto has always been to be the one who makes his own future. In 2017, when the country manager position for Spain was opened, he decided to apply. After an impressive two-year career, the Group appointed him as General Manager for Trescal Spain. Today he supervises 350 people working in 8 branches.

Throughout his career, Fran has sought to have a good balance between his family life and his professional responsibilities, and even if his current role is demanding, he is pleased to be able to keep this balance.

TRESCAL DIRECTOR FOR ASIA

Today, he wants to make Trescal the largest metrology service provider in Asia Pacific. He enjoys working with entrepreneurs who join the group as acquisitions are made. He and his family have a unique and rewarding expatriation experience both personally and professionally.

Jimmy started his career in 1985 in the United Kingdom at the Nuclear Research Government Agency as Dimensional Calibration Engineer and then as Technical Manager, before being named Head of its UKAS Accredited Lab (0063).

When the company was transferred to a nuclear facility management company, he was promoted to General Manager for the calibration business units, comprising four laboratories based across the UK. In 1999 he was named Head of Customer Branches, which he set up for an international aerospace manufacturer. In 2009 his team was transferred to Trescal and he was appointed Trescal UK Program Manager for the customer’s 18 embedded sites comprising 150 people.

In 2011, Trescal’s biggest aerospace customer called on it to build an on-site calibration lab in Singapore. In addition to supporting the client in the field, Jimmy also set up Trescal’s first greenfield calibration lab in Singapore in 2015 and developed the customer’s portfolio. In 2017 Jimmy was naturally appointed Director for Asia, which is a highly strategic market for the group.

Jimmy’s aim today is to make Trescal the largest calibration service provider in Asia-Pacific. He appreciates working with the entrepreneurs who are joining the group through the acquisitions. He and his family are enjoying a unique and fulfilling expatriation experience on both a personal and professional level.

I am proud to be able to meet the needs of our customers, have them always satisfied and thus help Trescal to have excellent technicians and leaders in their team and to consolidate itself as the world leader in Calibration services.

I am Luciana, Technical Coordinator and Signtory of the Dimensional area in the Trescal Camaçari unit, Bahia, Brazil. I’ve been with MEC-Q, since 20 years. I’ve also done my first experience in Metrology as a trainee.

My career has always been marked by many learning. Recently, returning to the calibration lab, I found a calibration label I did 20 years ago while I was an intern. I was thrilled to remember and realize that all steps was essential in my professional climbing and for the growth of the company, because at that time I was focused on growing up, learning, contributing to the company and getting where I am today, and I see how it has been accomplished in my career, in the team and in the company. I can follow the development of the laboratory, with innovations, systems and technologies, increasing the productivity and quality of services and procedures.

Margo rejoint le laboratoire Trescal d’Anvers en août 2016 après un an d’expérience dans le domaine du recrutement. Prête à se mettre au service de tous les employés de l’entreprise, elle devient RH généraliste. « Je veux accompagner les salariés pour qu’ils n’aient qu’à se concentrer sur l’essentiel et profiter de leur environnement de travail. »

Après plusieurs années passées chez Trescal, Margo a développé de nombreuses compétences dans des domaines variés – Paie, Formation, Administration, Loi du travail, etc. grâce au soutien de sa manager. « J’ai eu l’opportunité de développer mes compétences dans un environnement convivial et familial, exactement ce dont j’avais besoin pour me développer. »

OLIVER

RESPONSABLE TECHNIQUE DES LABORATOIRES DE SÉVILLE ET TOLÈDE

C’est un privilège de collaborer chaque jour avec les équipes Trescal dont j’apprends énormément, grâce aux connaissance et à l’expérience de chacun."

En 1997, Oliver débute sa carrière en tant que technicien spécialisé en réparation pour le laboratoire « Metrología y Calibración Industrial » (MCI) en Espagne. Avec l’explosion de la demande en services de métrologies, il recentre sa carrière sur le métier de technicien-métrologue.

En 2005, il est nommé responsable technique de la partie Mécanique du laboratoire, et il obtient les accréditations pour les domaines Masse, Couple, Pression et Température. Le laboratoire ne cessant de s’agrandir, Oliver commence alors à collaborer et conseiller différents clients, la plupart travaillant dans le secteur aéronautique : il acquiert de nouvelles connaissances portant sur les différentes normes aéronautiques.

En 2007, il devient le chef du projet en charges de penser, créer, développer et implémenter l’une des application web qui facilite la gestion de la calibration du parc d’instruments des clients de MCI.

En 2015, MCI rejoint alors Trescal. Aujourd’hui, Oliver est devenu le responsable technique des laboratoires de Séville et Tolède.

BRANCH MANAGER

In this position, I was able to travel and visit branches abroad, including in Argentina, Siberia, Tunisia, and the French Overseas Territories

Patrice began his career at Trescal in 2009 as a trainee in the Engineering and Maintenance business unit after graduating in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He continued as an apprentice during his professional degree year in Computer Science before being hired as a calibration technician in July 2010.

Ambitious and fully invested in his assignments, his potential was soon identified. In August 2014 he was appointed as manager of the embedded site of one of the Group’s main customers, a Cannes-based aerospace company, before being promoted to Production manager at the Toulon branch in April 2017.

In March 2019 Trescal appointed him manager of the Toulon branch.

His objectives are clear: “I want to boost the performance of the Toulon branch and train future managers, as I was trained myself.”
